This might be my favorite episode so far this season. There was a lot of great stuff, so let’s get started.

What a way to start an episode, huh? Brooke Davis would never have a white trash wedding, but how fun was that to see? Does anyone watch Mad Men? Haley shooting a bird reminded me of Betty Draper in season one. I’m also forever grateful to the show for giving me the image of Nathan in a trapper’s hat. I also really enjoyed the salami.

This has really been Brooke and Julian’s season. They’ve been great. It was nice that they brought back that list Millie made for Brooke back in the day. Watching them cross items off of it was a lot of fun. I really love Julian. He’s just perfect for Brooke. I feel so sad for Brooke for losing her company, but it’s so nice she’s got Julian there helping her through it. He’s offering just the support that she needs.

I’d just like to point out that it’s not as easy to get into a class late as it was for Nathan. I never gave much thought to his degree, because he’s always been all about basketball. It’s fun seeing him go back to school and having to study. Now they have tutor son. For the sake of nostalgia, though, I’d like to see Haley tutor him at some point.

I don’t love the Mia, Chase, and Alex triangle. I also don’t think it’s necessary at all. To be honest, I don’t think Chase is necessary at all. I do enjoy Alex and I like Mia has a minor character. Minor character. Not a major character. Having her there for something like celebrity bar tending was fun. I liked the concert a lot. I also like Kid Cudi, so that helps. Also, he already has a connection to the show since he co-stars with Bryan Greenberg on HBO’s How to Make It in America!

The big deal this was was the return of the Dantichrist! That list he gave Quinn for the supplies she’d need reminded me of Dexter. I was wondering how it was so easy for Quinn to find him, but then I realized that Nathan probably hasn’t bothered because he doesn’t want to have him. I think Paul Johansson really helped elevate Shantel van Santen’s performance. I just hope that Quinn dumping her gun isn’t the end of this, because that would just be too tidy. I’d like to see Quinn come apart at the seams a bit more. Of course, with that final scene, we know it isn’t over. My biggest hope is that Dan didn’t come back to the show just for Quinn, though. I want to see him interacting with Nathan, Jamie, and Haley. He’s got to be pretty stoked that another person is about to be born that doesn’t know what he did.

All in all, a solid, entertaining episode. I can’t wait for the next episode. The show does over the top so well and the story with Katie looks like it’s heading in that direction.

I don’t like this review. Basically because I am a huge Brase fan!!!! I know no body likes them anymore. But I still love them!!!!!!! Chase is sooo necessary. And Julian is not. He’s such a whiny little bitch. Chase is awesome. Go BRASE ALL THE WAY BABY!!!!!!!!!
